And yes if it last 6-12 months and then I have to re-coat I'm not going to be too fussed. There's still plenty left in the bottle.
Did you mask painted areas off and does it come off easily if you make a mistake?

No need to mask off. Comes off with a damp cloth - just keep one handy and fix up any small mistakes as you go.

I put down a drop sheet just to catch any drips so I didn't stain up the drive.

I looked into wrapping and painting too.

Problem with wrap on the textured plastic is that the wrap doesn't stick all that well to the surface. So you really need to fill it first before wrapping.

Same goes with painting you really need to fill it first to create a smooth surface before applying paint.

To fill you really need to take the trims off the car to fill/sand/paint. So it just started getting more difficult and expensive.

The only parts you cant wrap are the plastic wheel arches, rest no issues

Yeah though the car wrap guy I spoke with said you're still going to get an orange peel effect on plastic trims that aren't filled so you're back to needing to fill before wrapping. Just if you're going to spend a decent amount of time and $ on wrapping all the lower body panels to end up with a less than perfect job. You'll end up pulling it all off and doing it properly.

Or in my case just spend $30 to make it 80% better and be happy. In terms of bang for buck I think either plasti-dip or the plastic restorer are not bad options. I'll have to see how the restorer wears over time.

As discussed offline, a great spread.

This is going to be one sweet Tig once the wheels are locked in and perhaps some fat ovals out the back spewing real emissions.

    Non R-Line front bar FTW.
