If I didn’t have the suspension out I wouldn’t have picked it up so early. One of the benefits of modding

Hey guys I’m going to smooth out and paint my brake callipers this Sunday. The foliac paint that you guys keep talking about is literally just a solid two pack. If you guys want I’d be more than happy to sell you two to three hundred mls of PPG solid 2k with hardener. You would do it in the same manner as the foliac system. But PPG In my opinion is the best automotive paint you can get. But the process I’m doing is a bit more labour intensive. As I don’t want the rough look so I’m literally going to smooth them out till there all nice and smooth and then epoxy etch than wet on wet with a primer to fill in any light scratches I didn’t pick up and than spray paint them a red similar colour to the tail lights. Two pac solids are simple and iv always done all my cars this way and never have they chipped cracked or had any issues. They just keep on shining lol. But yeah I’m happy to help any one out of you guys can’t get the foliac. Realistically you could spray paint the foliac you would just have to reduce it/thin it down and spray it. Any ways. This is how my wolf looks now with no badges. Trying to find some lowering springs locally.

Yes the Foliatec is proving hard to get. The company that brought it in originally still has some stock, however it's been sitting on the shelf for 3 years and shelf life on the product is supposedly 12 months. So I'm still waiting to hear whether they are prepared to supply it or just going to bin it.
If you've got access to some similar 2 part paint with hardener then I'd certainly be interested in getting hold of some.
The only other paints I was looking at were by BCS Autopaints but haven't seen any reviews of their products or what they sell.
I ended up getting mine from overseas because it worked out about $100 cheaper to do it that way.
Here's the link from the place I bought from: Eibach Pro-Kit E10-85-043-05-22 for VOLKSWAGEN Tiguan Ad1 - TUNERSHOP Tuning Onlineshop. Only took a week for delivery from Germany.

Yeah I’m pretty sure every one here knows I’m a panel beater and spray painter. I work for a prestige company in parra that is a Mercedes, Bmw and Lexus preferred smash repairer. We use PPG paints. Google PPG automotive paints to see what there about. It’s honestly not cheep. It’s one of the worlds leading paint companies. the foliatec is probably well is! just a cheep two pack or two part paint, which they have done well to market as a good brake calliper paint. I’d evan print out a step by step process for you guys if your interested. I won’t type them out I’ll get the mrs to cause .....Clearly my grammars not the best hahaha. Any ways about the springs yeah one week seems really fast but I’ll suss them out. As soon as we’re quiet at work I’m going to colour code the flares and I’m also looking for a vw Tiguan that’s being wrecked to get all the chrome window moulds and drip rail moulds so I can paint them gloss black. I hate the black cheep mould it has now. I feel some what ripped off lol.

I want to colour code the lower plastics on my Sportline but that’s all the way around. Still tossing up what to do here as I wouldn’t attempt painting. Have considered wrapping and/or going really cheap and using plastic-dip to get rid of grey and make darker matt black.
Been speaking to a guy that wraps cars and he suggested spraying the plastic parts with glue before applying the wrap to get it to stick. Otherwise I’d have to prime and sand back so may as well paint.
