Yeah it’s a good bang for buck mod. I’d go either the SuperPro or Whiteline bars but as the end links came in the kit is was cheaper to buy everything together.

Mk7 Golf R/GTI Performance runs a ventilated 310mm x 22mm rear disc. The stock Tig/base GTI runs a solid 300mm x 12mm disc.
There’s options in terms of running larger disc with a relocation kit for the caliper but I’m just going with a 310mm DBA rotor and Forza FP2 pad for now.

Actually it's partly a tax write-off combined with stimulus for the Coronavirus economy.
Also I have 6 pot Alcons up front with 378mm rotors so decided a mild rear brake upgrade was in order.

I can fix the tax write off...give me some, I can give you an invoice. Seriously what gain do bigger brakes give, I live in an area that punishes brakes and mine have never reached anything like brake fade.

Generally shorter stopping distances and the ability to pull up significantly quicker when you really need to.
Plus it kind of balances out the additional “go” my car has with equally good braking.
