Hopefully get the sway bar installed over the weekend. I'll also test out the towels too next wash :)

Sway bar installed. Went for a quick run around the block and retightened the bolts. Certainly corners a lot flatter and initial impressions is that there’s significantly less understeer which is nice.

Glad to read that it fitted up all ok. Will be on my shopping list now, best and underated bang for buck handling upgrade.
How much does it cost and is it easy to install?
Here's the kit I bought: SuperPro Rear 24mm Adjustable Swaybar & Link Kit Fits Audi VWRC0052RZ-24KIT
I bought it when there was a 20% off sale for SuperPro, however Sparesbox has got 15% off until the end of the month site-wide. You may find it cheaper elsewhere. There's a number of other options for Mk7 Golf R (Whiteline, H&R, etc) and they should all fit/work.
In terms of fitting it wasn't too bad. I did it on the drive on jack stands in around an hour and a half. Had a bit of a struggle getting the end links seated into the frame. It's all pretty basic - 8 bolts to do everything. Would have been easier to drop the exhaust but managed to do get the bar in/out with it still bolted up.
They don't list it for the Tiguan. You have to select Mk7 R. Or just put it the part number. and yes the H&R ones are expensive. I couldn't justify spending more than I did for effectively the same thing.
Also I didn't want to go too big (i.e 25-26mm) in terms of the upgrade as then I'd probably have to do the front as well to match and that's a much bigger job in terms of the installation.
The stock bar is 22mm and pretty sure it's hollow too as the 24mm SuperPro bar is noticeably heavier.
