    Boost tap is in. Getting run up on the dyno tomorrow and getting a few more psi boost dialled in.

    The tuner will use that to get an accurate boost reading while tuning the engine. But otherwise, it can be used to run a boost gauge on a day to day basis.

    Correct this is mainly to make sure the boost readings being taken off the OBD port are accurate.

    This ensures the tuner isn’t dialling in too much (or not enough) boost.

    I probably won’t run a boost gauge. The only thing I usually keep an eye on is oil temps to make sure it’s ok to give it some beans.

    Well it’s going to take a bit longer...

    Had the car on the dyno yesterday and was run up on the low boost file but ended up taking it off and doing another revision on the road as the shop was closing.

    It’s definitely quicker and pulls like a train. Just had issues with traction when launching as it was still a bit damp and spun all 4. Once it hooked up it was great.

    I'm thinking you might need to take your car to a different shop to get it done once and right.....

    May need to venture to NSW or MEL.

    It’s getting tuned by E-tuners Motorsport.

    I’m not going to take it interstate if I can help it. I have done this in the past and know a few others who have done this also and it doesn’t always work out. If you ever have issues or need the car retuned it becomes a bit of a nightmare to be honest.

    How did it go on the dyno on the low file?

    Do they have to send the file to Greece to get it customised ?
