Bought a few new cars. Wouldn't stress about it. Every year is an improvement. We bought the first Tiguan highline MK2 literally next year the screen went up to 9.2inch. you will never win that game. I wish it was like BMW especially 90s through to 00s.. where one shape happened for like 7 years +++

I placed an order only to be told a couple days later that the Blue Silk is not available with the R-Line package. They offered a 2018 one they found in the country for the same price but I passed. Hopefully in the future they will bring some colour back to the line.

My Allspace is still about 6 weeks away and the dealer showed me the updated spec sheet for the MY20.
It was supposed to get regular cruise as well as adaptive cruise, but VW have canned the regular cruise, so it only gets the adaptive cruise now.

Why would you want plain cruise Thats going backwards. If i had it would always use ACC rather than crappy old stuff

It depends on your driving style, if you drive at the speed of the traffic ACC is good, me I drive faster than the traffic as a rule and it can be a nuisance slowing you down as you catch a car in front and if you do not notice it happening. After nearly three years I am still not a total fan and the wheel controls for it are an ergonomic disaster after driving a Skoda with all the CC controls on the trafficator arm right at the finger tips. Before I bought I thought ACC would be the best thing since sliced bread but the love affair stopped on the drive home from the dealer which was over an hour on rural roads.

Normal cruise would also allow you to pass on the left on a multi lane road without having to mod the codes (which admittedly I will probably do anyway)

Adaptive cruise disables if the car senses a problem with trailer lights. Drove me insane on a long trip when into the journey it did that. Had no cruise thereafter.

I can't say I have had that issue at all.

ACC won't allow you to overtake on the left even on a multi-lane road. It can cause some dangerous situations when cars slow in the right lane as the ACC will pull you up so that you don't overtake.

I've disabled it for this reason.

I'll test it tomorrow but I honestly can't recall it being a problem.
