Hi,
Going through all the facts and figures deciding between the new Tiguan, CX5 or Tucson. Has anyone been given prices for servicing costs? There is a calculator on the VW website but it doesn't have the new Tiguan only the old one. I put in the following with the results shown.
ENGINE TYPE 2.0L Petrol 132kW
TRANSMISSION DSG 7sp
MODEL YEAR 2016
Service Interval
(whichever occurs first)15,000kms or 12 months 30,000kms or 24 months 45,000kms or 36 months 60,000kms or 48 months 75,000kms or 60 months 90,000kms or 72 months Capped Price incl. GST* $458.00 $458.00 $535.00 $1033.00 $458.00 $535.00
Additional items not included in the quoted capped price.
Are these reflective of the new Tiguan?

I think you'd find the new Tiguan to be very similar to these prices unless they're using different oils which I would think is very unlikely.
You could compare it to pricing for the Mk7 Golf GTI as this runs effectively the same 2.0TSI engine.
Obviously the GTI wouldn't have a Haldex.
