    Self Steering at Slow Speeds

I was using TJA today and was at very slow crawling speeds down around 20kph or less and I noticed that the steering reminder did not seem to display after the customary 13 seconds. Am I going nuts? Has anyone else noticed this. I was talking to someone in the car at the time and I am sure I did not imagine it but then senility might be setting in.

that's not possible as TJA or ACC will be not activated at all if you going under 30km/h, under min. 30kmh speed is not possible to self activate TJA or ACC o even CC . Car steers by self only when TJA or ACC is on , offcourse if condition are meet like visible white marking lines on sides .

I thong Ozsko means that he had TJA/ACC set at a higher speed maximum speed (say 50km/h) but the traffic was crawling at under 20km/h so TJA was following at those speeds.

To answer the OP's question, I can't remember the exact speed (I think maybe 18km/h but may be incorrect) but under a set speed it will not require driver contact every 12s - my Golf does this.

I think Lane Assist only works over 65kmh even if you've got TJA/ACC. TJA will control speed right down to stopped.

TJA adds active lane assist to ACC right down to stop, nothing more or less.
