Roof rack & lip sill protector options

My lip protector arrived but haven't ordered the rack yet.

I'll install the protector after I get paint protection done. If I get it done.

They appear to be made by Thule, yes. Not sure about the Tig, but I know for the Passat they are a slightly different design though to what Thule offer. The VW bar inserts into the foot and ends there (similar to the Thule ‘wingbar edge’ foot design) - the Thule rapid bar sits on top of the foot and is slightly longer. So slight differences in the Rapid bar package.

i wasn’t prepared to pay the price of the wingbar, so went with vw branded bars for a decent price. If you’re leaving them on the vehicle though I reckon the Thule wingbar would be worth the cash.
