Funny my tuner hasn't suggested this to me yet, maybe on dyno day! What would you suggest? I seen others upgrading there coil packs from the RS3 I think.
Yeah I'll upload my dyno sheet - Car was due to go in on Monday 24th but have a issue with my rear caliper, so it's on order from VW. So once done I will get it done. Everything that needed to be ordered has all arrived just waiting for my car

I am after less weight and larger rotating mass to stop the car without too much deterioration from the standard rotors getting too hot thus reduced braking capabilities. The standard brakes always weigh a ton and it's performance maybe fine and ideal for your standard vehicle but in a couple of weeks time mine will not.
I know it's not a hot hatch (ATM far from it) but who's saying it can't be bigger one, Well in an SUV form anyway haha... Besides this, the wheels (changing later) are blooming heavy but having a small reduction from the upgraded brakes will greatly help the suspension.
This is really twisting my brains! I am really contemplating to go the 6 pot avenue, judging by what you are saying and the fact there's not much in actual surface area for the 4 pots price point to be actually beneficial, especially when there's only $400 between the two kits. Just thinking like BMW, Audi, Merc etc, all use a better brake system based on the their higher spec versions and probably to enhance it's looks.
Anyway I have the funds (well budget) to get this done as I just want it done properly. I'll be kicking myself if (shortly) down the track if they'll not meeting my expectations, that I'll have to fork out even more cash that could be put towards something else or even a holiday for my family. I just want to enjoy my car and feel safe.

As you say the difference in cost between the 4 pots and 6 pots is not massive so definitely I’d go the bigger setup as you won’t regret it later.
You won’t die wondering what could have been. Do it once and do it right.
The only thing you need to be careful with is clearance on the inside. What stock rims are you running and how much space do you have to the stock caliper?

The disk diameter is only one thing.
4 pot vs the standard brake even of the same diameter has its advantages. Not the least being clamping pressure across the whole pad and usually a bigger pad.
The 4 pot Brembos on the F6 I had were plenty of brakes.
Yes mate, Gordie in Dandenong. Think that other Tig is mine.
Why do you ask?

Greg at brakes direct said I wont have any clearance issue its designed to fit without using spacers or altering anything. Believe its designed clearance is for a 19" + wheel. I am still going to use the 20" original Suzuka wheels.
Atm they are beating anyother deal for the BBK front and uprated rear with stock caliper. Should stop on a dime.
He said the Forza FP3 on front and FP2 on rears, still better then a Ferodo combination and being low dust etc.
