Unlike the paint protection, the dash and leather protection (gtechniq) requires reapplication every 6 months or so, so I just bought a bottle and apply myself.

Can anyone in Sydney recommend an authorised dealer of Opti-coat Pro?

I hit the request quote button on the main opticoat website and was sent a quote by a mobile detailer. My preference is to leave the car with someone who has a workshop.

Anyone have experience with Protekt Auto in Clyde?

Yes. I had my GTI done through them (then called Reflect Effect) and will be sending my Passat there when it arrives. Perfect result and a far better outcome than another experience I had elsewhere

    Paint Protection and Interior

I used OptiCoat before on my Golf GTI but now I plan to get exterior paint protection using GTechniq Crystal Serum Plus & EXO coatings for my new Tiguan Wolfsburg. Cost is $950.

Has anyone used Pomponazzi paint protection before? Judging from the videos and tests it is a thicker and more scratch resistant to GTEech or OC.

It is slightly more expensive $200-300 extra compared to the others.

    Paint Protection and Interior

For comparison some photos of cars with Pomponazzi applied. The coating does look very glossy from the photos! Also the colours seems to be deeper than other ceramic/crystal/glass coatings.

According to the review from caradvise, the following are the thickness of the coatings:

    1. Car paint coatings 80-100 microns
    2. OptiCoat 2 microns
    3. Pomy 8-20 microns
