How often do folks too up their oil?
I just whacked in about 1L after 10,000k

Oil warning light came on.
Checked the dipstick and it was at the low end
So stuck in some oil until she was about 2/3rds in the "zone" on the dipstick

I'm just over 7K and checked the dipstick out of curiosity and I'm sitting on the low end.

Haven't thrashed it enough, ours is dead smack in the middle at 12k kms.

And I drive it hard, 2nd fuel tank launched it, 3rd fuel tank too Old Pacific Hwy and chased my mates S13 and a few Chasers.

Kisses the red line most times I drive it.

No I haven't. It's mainly driven to and from work, 50k round trip but takes over an hour each way thanks to Sydney peak hour traffic.
Missus is in her third trimester so long trips are out of the question for the moment, apart from once a month out to Picton to see the folks.
I keep meaning to do a run up Putty Rd way, but lately the Tig's been used for a shopping cart for baby crap at the moment on weekends.

I never did thought of topping up oil. I assume at each services they'll do it but I guess i'll just go and check the dip stick later

I still check it EVERY week .No telling if a clip or something let go

check all fluid levels, tyre pressures, top up wiper fluid, and a general once-over to look for anything that seems amiss.
