True. But if you look for the right stuff you get some excellent quality.

I purchased the below and it came branded with one of the top brands racingline/APR/forge etc.

Yes. It was racing line and fantastic quality. Well built and well finished off. I’ve heard a few people mention that burger tuning intercoolers are from the east. As is their oil catch can. So even the good guys are rebranding Chinese products.

I have s majesty cooler and a down pie on order. Let’s see that quality.

ARB had an issue with warranty claims on some failing diff lock centres. They couldn’t understand the issue - billet machined components were fracturing which shouldn’t. Until they did some metallurgical tests... the machining was really close, the box and the instructions were basically perfect reproductions. Shame the core materials were cr@p.

Anyway, I won’t reward knock-offs with my dollar - it only damages the companies which spend the money on genuine research and development.

I’m pretty sure companies like APR Racingline etc aren’t selling their products on aliexpress. Why don’t you email them a link to the product and ask them if the product is genuine?
    Cheers

Is it necessary to fit a catch can to a standard 162TSI?
I will be removing my Elite can from my Commodore VFII Redline before sale.
If these 162’s get a bit of blow by, I could fit the Elite.
