Normally there is coding for wheel circumference, but it depends on the model of the cluster, can you post the auto-scan from your cluster?
Hi everyone, I have recently purchased a 2019 Tiguan with the 20 inch stock wheels (from factory). I noticed that when I am driving on the highway @ 100km according to my Google map GPS, my odometer reading is closer to 110km. Does anyone know where I can go on VCDS to adjust the odometer to read closer to the GPS reading? Thanks guys

Sorry about this can you tell me how I would do this ?
Here is the guide for VCDS
Ross-Tech: VCDS Tour - AutoScan
In the file, it creates you should see something like this for your cluster, paste that here and I can check if there are any coding options.

Here is what I did as mine was about 5 over actual speed at 100kph
In an OBDELEVEN Go to 17 Dashboard /Long coding Scroll down to Wheel circ Mine was on 1 so I changed it to 3 and it now is dead right at 100kph
I suggest that yours wont be that far out but if it is its still legal but annoying. So try swapping it to 4 and see if it comes right. There are 7 alternative numbers using the OBDELEVEN Higher makes it slower Make sure you test the GPS speed on a flat preferably straight road as changing elevations can give false readings.
You also are using wrong terminology Your SPEEDO is whats incorrect. NOTHING to do with ODOMETER which records distance.
Do you have ver1 AID or ver 2 with the temp and fuel scale on each side Makes a difference as to what you can do

@Hillbilly, thanks I will try it . So I have the temp and fuel on either end, what does that limit me too? Will that process still work for me ?
I found wheel circumference in 5f Information electronics. Stored value is 0mm and I can input a new value in mm .I assume if I make the size larger than 0 then theoretically it should slow the speedo? What are your thoughts?
Okay so I changed the wheel circumference value from 0mm to 40mm and went for a drive on the highway and no change. I changed it to -40mm and still no change. I then reset to 0mm and im back.
The settings will be under "17 instruments" if they are available, check adaptation channels as well.
