Saw this today on Google.. nearly orgasmed. Haha.

This will be in Aus 2023? Will enjoy the current tiggy as it's still a looker but look forward to one of these bad boys in 2025ish..

Surely there’s a facelift Mk2 Tig due in the next 12 months though, before the Mk3 in 2023ish?

On the flipside, It's believed a hot 'R' version will top the range, with 350hp (261W) from its four-cylinder turbo petrol engine. Volkswagen is reportedly planning to introduce a Tiguan R based on the current-generation SUV around September.

Totally agree.

By slope shaping the rear, which results in reducing the interior space, they are defeating the very reason most people would buy a Tiguan.

Land Rover did this with their whole range of vehicles and they now have a range of “CARS” no body wants. They can’t give them away!

I hope the new Tiguan is just a concept that they do not follow through with.
