Went to the dealers yesterday and they said there has been an issue with the switch for the foot activated tailgate which means that a lot of cars got shipped with faulty switches (and why a lot of the sales guys are having troubles demonstrating the function).
Cars that are effected are having new switches fitted locally prior to delivery.
I did take a 132TSI for a quick drive and in comparison to my wife's 155TSI:
- less body roll
- more laggy accelerator - especially in D
- more wind noise around the side mirrors
- a little more spacious (but not a lot)
- less power and overtaking ability
- DAP with ACC and electronic dials is great
- generally more edgy/angular interior /exterior
I'm looking to change work cars in the next 6-12 months, but I'd need a pretty good deal on one of these to make it stack up.
