And word has it that the R-line will only be available in white, silver, grey and black - not any rainbow colours. Would have been hot to see one of these R-lines in the orange!!!

So this is what the R-Line will look like?
These are the 20" wheels Oz will be getting?

I want the Tiguan in that picture!
Yes the Trendline and Comfortline get 17" wheels, Highline gets 18's and the R-line gets the Suzuka 20's (same as above).
Are the 18's we're getting on the Highline the bottom red Tiggy with the 5 spoke rims (I like the look of those)?
OK Alloys are as follows:
Trendline - Montana 17"

Thanks Tigger, great intel. I'll be going for a pure white Highline, so will probably have the Kingston's painted gloss black for the old stormtooper look 😊
Pro's: The red looks more vibrant than teh weird burgundy in the Gen 1 and 2.
Con's: The orange is disgusting and the Blue looks like they have gone back to the Catalina Blue from the Gen 1 that they dropped because practically no one bought it.
____________
The wheels look like remakes of other wheels.
Tulsa 17"s look like downsized Santiago 19"s from the Mk7 GTI PP.
Suzuka 20"s look like a metallic version of the Audi fin spoke 19"s from the A6 (2005-08)
If that's the orange in the photo with the bloke in the green jacket then I have to say I quite like it. I did nearly buy an S3 in Misano Red which looks similar in the sun.
I've been looking for a replacement for our Passat. My wife insists on 7 seats and I was hoping the CX-9 would come in at mid $50s for the sensible model. It looks like Mazda are being muppets again with options. "You would like a button to close the boot sir? It's very heavy and your wife can't close it. Certainly, that will be $10k thank you - it's part of an options pack bundled with a whole load of stuff you don't want! Oh you want all the safety features as well. That'll be another $10k - they are bundled with a whole load of fancy trim that you don't want either" $70+k I think not.
I'll wait and see what the 7 seat Tig and Skodiaq come out with...
