I guess you guys do miss out on this then, really can't understand why though??
From my understanding there is a sensor somewhere in each wheel arch that picks up the signals from the sensors in the wheels. I wonder if the hardware in the wheel arch is there in your ones and then you just need the tyre sensors or if all the hardware is totally missing.
Do you have any info for the typre monitoring in the Infotainment system? I can view the details for this here are well under the Vehicle Status:
On a side note I just noticed the blue on the Infotainment screen, will have to have a look and see if I can check it to gold to match the AID.

All of you are right, I checked and found that VW used normal cap to close on each tyres not the one showed by NZGOLF. We paid almost 60k for just intentive missing this passive system, how much does it cost just to cut it out?
This Tig is the first time I've bought a new car in 8 years. The improvement in tech in that time has made it a really exciting purchase. But, damn, it's really hard to understand the business logic behind the minor variations in tech features across countries. And frustrating to find myself on the "missing x" end of that variation!
