My ComfortLine 132TSI with DAP has the new Discover Media unit - traffic didn't work (VW said not in Aus).
Got it working using VCDS as per this thread if anyone else has same issue.

If they put stickers on my car they can remove them before I drive away. What's rude is the dealer assuming he can plaster his advertising on someone else's vehicle without asking first.
Why not just go down to the local Westfield car park with a bunch of stickers and plaster them on every car in the car park?

Took my Highline for its first drive after dark last night and wow, what a difference LED headlights make. I didn't realise how bad my old halogens were! The clarity and brightness is amazing.

Can anyone who had bi-xenon headlights on the previous gen model, comment on how much (if any) an improvement are the new LED's?
So far I have only read comparisons between halogen and LED. Thanks.
I had bi-xenons on my 2010 Tiguan and they worked pretty well. They lights were a single projector lens type with low and high beam coming from the same lens. I also had the same lights on my 2014 Golf GTI performance. The LED lights on my new 162TSI R Line are a dramatic improvement on the previous bi-xenons. The LEDs use separate reflectors for low and high beam and the spread and penetration is a revelation on country roads at night. They work really well on low beam too spreading a long way to the left of the car.
Finally! It has arrived. Initial impressions:
Black looks great in person.
Really enjoyed the ride home. Smooth as silk to drive. Obviously with so few KMs, the car is virtually silent with little power.
Can't wait to have a longer steer. Need to bed it in with 1500kms then will take it for a proper "drive".
(Most car nuts will notice the motor unwind greatly between 1500-5000KMs).
I didn't bother bedding in the Golf R and that resulted in a motor that uses way too much oil. After bedding in every other car I've ever owned and Never having an issue.
The technology on this car will keep me busy for a long time. Love that it has the dampers that stiffen up like my R, the ability to sync 2 phones at once and just how fluid the head unit operation is.
Very quiet inside. I'm impressed overall. I will give a short write up once some more driving is done.
Negatives? Only negative so far will be the audio. It's flat and lacks any depth. Dynaudio is a must option, and although not for everyone, I will probably go down the aftermarket route.
