Really nice pics. The true test will be either:
A) getting the car to look like that when it's not brand new
B) see what this car in the Pics looks like after 50,000kms.

Think you're jumping the gun. My ship landed a week before yours and car's being delivered to my place on wed. Takes at least 2 weeks from when the boat docks.

On Friday I was told that the Don Juan shipment into Melb on Jan 7th are still at the docks. I'm guessing our delivery will be sometime late in the week commencing Jan 22nd

My Golf R only took about 8 days.. maybe it's taking longer due to being a sexy black colour.

Further when my salesman sold me my car, he offered to have the car delivered within the week as a special favour due to some travel commitments.

Hopefully comes good soon.

my my sales person said that they hadn't received delivery advice from Patrick's yet but expected it this coming week.

He seemed pretty genuine about it all. Gave me no reason to doubt him.

Anyway, hope we both get ours soon - I'm nearly out of holidays and super keen to get our new car.

Hi All,

Long to lurker, first time poster.

My Tiguan 140TDI, R-Line, DAP and PANO was on the Don Juan. I am picking mine up tomorrow afternoon. It actually arrived at the dealer (Brighton Bolkswagen) on Thursday afternoon. Guessing depending on your dealer it might add some time to the delivery. However I did find this article on the Port of Melbourne website that may speed up delivery times.

New auto wharf completed

It would seem that can do pre-delivery work at the docks now rather than taking it to the Patrick's Depot.

As noted in the above comment, looks like I wasn't jumping the gun at all.

Spoke with my dealer today who told me he's aiming for Saturday delivery at best.

Pretty disappointed we won't have it for our trip.

Has anyone else received ?! Need some more photos and stories.

I'm receiving my 162 Highline this Wednesday.
Went yesterday just for the final test drive and was happy with it so I'll be picking it up this Wednesday.
