I have been driving the car in normal mode for more than 2000kms and yesterday I changed to comfort mode for 300kms journey. When looking at vehicle status driving data , the long term data is for comfort mode only and does not include my previous driving data on normal mode. Is this how it is expected to work by displaying long term data for each mode separately?
That's an interesting observation...My long term average fuel consumption has reset a couple times, and I know I didn't do it.
I wonder if this is what, as occasionally I switch from "Individual" mode to "Sport" mode and back again

It’s not the cause in my car, as I make the normal/sport/economy switch twice per run, from/to work, each day.
Add it to the list of things that vw have in their vehicles that isn’t quite stable(at the least- not explained)
It reset by self each 2000km short and long memory and start again taking for net 2000km
Thankyou for clarifying
Changed the mode from comfort to normal. Driving data did not reset. I guess it's the 2000km mark which resets it and not the mode. So there is no way to know the total KM's the car has run till date , assuming I'm resetting the trip everytime I'm refuelling?
In driving data I believe there is the total vehicle KM setting, grouped with oil temp etc
