I''ve seen a highline without R-Line in Melbourne and it still looked nice.

Yeah, it was not even in a colour I like but I found myself staring at it because its the first Highline I've seen :)
LOL, I parked my R-line in a side road of a slightly remote coastal village. A SUV drives into the road, stops on the other side of the road on a parking lot. We walk away towards the main road. I turn around and see the SUV now parked directly behind my car, a woman walking around my car, she notices me watching her, sticks up her hands in an apologetic way, points at the car with a face of amazement...
Cruise control performance/accuracy? I'm currently driving an M-B A200d, and expect to upgrade to a 140 Highline Tig by the end of the year. One of the things I love about the cruise control in the Merc is that, when cruising down long hills, it is smart enough to very gently apply the brakes to prevent over-running beyond the target speed. This means that the cruise control can easily maintain the target speed +/- about 2kmh going up or down almost any hills. No freakin' speeding fines or demerit points worries for me!
The cruise control in my previous Golfs (most recently a Mk 6 GTD) could not apply the brakes so it would often over-run the target speed down hills. Can someone with a new Tig please confirm whether the cruise control holds speed accurately going down hills?
