ETA: the delivery guy wasn’t subtle about asking me to give him a good rating either, he said any scores 8 and under on the scale were considered a fail and they would be raked over the coals.
Which makes you really wonder about the stupidity of some of these people. If you don't get the survey until a few weeks after delivery why they don't make the effort to ensure they get good scores....

Jealous! 965km on the clock and I’m averaging 14.4/100km.

    Damn Sydney suburban driving.

If it makes you feel better, I have a diesel with 9500kms. In my peak hour Adelaide drive, I average 12.*l/100 at 20kmh avg speed.

Well after a whole 6 weeks of ownership and 1200km and very careful parking at the local shops, bunnings etc - washing my Wolfsburg today for the third time, I discover a carpark door dent on the passenger side door ... smack bang in the middle of the door just below the door crease. Just a dent not a scratch or paint missing .. but damn it ... a dent all the same. Oh well let's hope karma sorts out the offending individual.

    Dont worry be happy.
I had a similar smaller dent however to my surprise the dent fixer dude was able to push it back out in 2 minutes. I would highly recommend a (paint free) dent fixer. probably cost under $100 to fix it I reckon and you will feel a whole lot better.
    Good luck,

    Cheers

Thanks it's petrol. I was reading some blog sometime back which said it would be better to go for 98 in terms of fuel efficiency but I'm not sure if it would make any difference.
