Got my 132 Adventure about a month after ordering it.
Overall a positive experience.
Pros:
- Smooth drive
- Good power delivery
- Excellent infotainment system and integration with carplay and the digital screen as well as the 360 degree camera.
- Good value for money with electric tailgate, LED headlights, lumbar support, heated seats, adjustable 2nd row, offroad protection.
- Seems quite 'compact' in size from the outside but very roomy on the inside.
- Art velours seats are very comfortable
Negatives
- Car delivered with approx 1/3 fuel, promised full tank.
- Car not fully clean on the outside, some water staining marks, inexcusable IMO
- Wiper fluid light on already, was it even full to begin with? Do VW do a top-up for you for free if you take it in to them?
- Nothing fantastic from delivery POV, no special gifts or freebies etc.
- No DAB
- Fuel consumption high-ish, sitting at just under 10L/100km, drive just under 2000km.
- Cup-holders aren't very practical in my usage
- Front storage area is never used as it gets too hot in there for anything.
1.It was located next to the gear stick near auto hold
2. Nothing is in its place
3. TCS and ASR are turned off through the car menu on the discover pro unit under settings
Not sure why they removed it to be honest.. I would of like the ability to turn it off straight away without having to dig through all the menu's.. but assume most wouldn't ever want to turn it off
Don't you have to turn off TCS & ACR to use the Tiguan Launch Control ?
Maybe that's why they removed the button... too many people testing out Launch Control
I have had a sport SUV and never turned the TCS off in 6 years.
Why would people want to permanently disable the Traction Control System ??
My dealer mentioned something about different modes on the TCS, for example pressing it for driving on sand in off-road mode reduces the frequency of intervention to 7 times a second rather than the full traction control (to preserve the brakes) but I couldn't find anything in the manual to that effect. Said they told them about it in the Tiguan training but who knows if that's true...

If that's true, it seems like even less justification to remove the button ??
Or did they do an update and the dial for the driving mode on the center console near the gear change now does the same function when you select 'off road' ?
Does the manual have different instructions for 'Launch Control' with the TCS button removed ?
So it appears that the lumbar section of the drivers seat has has developed a distinct squeak when accelerating guess I’ll be booking it in to get looked at
