No it doesn’t. You have to be in auto high-beam mode for the car to work out when to activate/control the high-beams. Same as normal.

Why dont you just follow the explicit instructions Phonebooth posted because they work
If it dances like mine you should have DLA if it just drops from high beam to dip right across you have HBA
DLA splits to leave a car in front in the dark or a car coming toward you also in the dark
UNLESS you have an ALLSPACE which has DLA standard

mie does the same light dance as in your video. I have seen phonebooth's instructions though haven't yet had time to see if I can code it in.

Massive kudos to Phonebooth for that detailed post, perfectly easy to follow and activated on mine. I had tried previously and failed, but your instructions worked. I did have an error about the dynamic cornering lights, but it went away by itself.

Mine's a SWB and did some coding this morning and now have DLA ticked in the setup menu on the Discover Pro. Where can I find menu 4B though

Glad it worked for you! I found the cornering light errors clear once the ignition is turned off/on after coding is completed.
You might have module 55 (which does the job of 4B) and may required VCP parameters as mentioned by Kamold.Mine's a SWB and did some coding this morning and now have DLA ticked in the setup menu on the Discover Pro. Where can I find menu 4B though
