Cheers guys
I was waiting for the mk2 version, but doesn’t seem like they have any stock since the first batch sold out in a matter of days...
Given the mk1 version is on sale, I may just grab that one.

Looks like MK2 version is back to the drawing board...
Why Nextgen has been delayed?
Manufacturer did not meet our high standards – after internal and external testing, hardware hasn’t passed our quality control. We want our device to be as perfect as it can be, before releasing it to the public, so we will need some time to fix all the issues.
When Nextgen will be back in stock?
We are sorry to inform you that we have delayed the release of Next generation device for unlimited time, because the manufacturer did not meet our high standards – hardware hasn’t passed our quality control. We keep working on fixing the issue and iOS software development, though we’re not confident enough to set any dates

I have an inkling it’s not so much quality as it’s hard to keep ahead of (and satisfy) Apple.
Apple don’t make it easy for 3rd-parties and are very security conscious.
Often devices need to exploit/bypass measures to perform the way the app designers and end-users expect.
This can open the door to dodgy behaviour(by clever end-users, copycat companies- think vcds clones), so Apple blacklist the app and/or hardware- even if nothing bad had yet happened. Again, it’s because they want a controlled and secure environment, rather than ‘herp derp Apple are scum’
I thought they were releasing the first batch before iOS development was complete with the view it would be enabled later with software update?
It would still work with Android...?

They said manufacturing standards fell below expectations so they chose to fix problems before release and probably get more brown stuff heaped on them
Unless you have a fruity thing the original one works well. The new one apparently is going to include BMW as well

Mamba Ebike to replace Tiguan
I have an iPhone, but bought a cheap Samsung tablet from office works for obd11. It works fine and I leave it in the centre console.
Is there a tweak to have a more proactive Haldex? Like Audi’s Quattro Ultra where it’s engaged every time starting off from standstill etc?
Haldex All-Wheel-Drive Adjust Traction
Reports indicate that changing this setting to ‘Increased Traction’ improves the handling and makes the car feel like a permanent AWD system.
Select AWD Control Unit
Adaptation
Acoustic Measure, Wiring Logic
Choose from ‘Standard, Increased Traction, Less Noise’
Audi's quattro system is not haldex (unless it's on the MGB)
Having the haldex engage more often may increase wear on the clutches.
