I think there's no need to jump the gun yet. As far as I know no one has tried to duplicate Hugo's long coding and adaptation channels on an older firmware. I still believe they will work on older firmwares for TJA. Because TJA is not new and shouldn't be only active in the latest firmware.

Hugo, I messaged you my email address. Can you please send me the back up of your A5 module. Looks like I have to give it a go with my limited knowledge.

I tried it and never get the same long coding man.

Not the coding from Hugo but one from Europe and TJA activated Tiguan firmware 0271

Just did a bit more playing around today after reading some of the Golf 7.5 forums and found you can change the AID display to look like the new Golf GTI (without the red lines):



Or the Golf R (notice the 320kmh limit!!):



It is under Dash Board (17) - Adaptation - Tube_version (all the way at the bottom on the list)
Variant_2 is the default
Variant_3 is the GTI
Variant_4 is the R
