Mk2 Tiguan VCDS Tweaks

Do you have the image of the ‘mid’ assembly, so those who aren’t sure of their own cars, can compare?

Also, to anyone interested, I went for a drive last night and made a couple of YouTube videos. One showing the DLA in action and the other, shows low beam level, static cornering lights and dynamic cornering lights.

The mid assembly DLA capable unit was not fitted to any Tiguan so it could not be enabled, Kamold and I have been there and tried that on my car. Sometime during the last twelve months (to my knowledge) the mid assembly has become the standard fit and DLA not enabled which sort of defeats the purpose. I have posted a link in many headlight threads which shows the differences in headlight assemblies along with other information on Tiguan electricals.

these have the mid-assembly.

maybe a strange issue where wolfies weren't getting the same housing as highlines? although that seems a weird choice, if true, based on where the wolfsburg is positioned in the range.

My Wolfy didn't have DLA on by default, but after some careful coding it now works exactly like the youtube videos you posted.

Still can't understand why its not on by default. Regardless of if their trying to protect the Audi brand. Theres so much more in Audi that will sway potential buyers!

It's on my to do list when I get my hands on the new Vagcom.

Please be noted that it may also need a set of parameters that control DLA light operation.
