Hi Everyone, i am from Brazil and in my country the Tiguan Rline 2018 isnt enable Lane Assist. The car have camera module A5 on VCDS. Someone have the step by step to enable this function? Best regards my friends.

I am shipping my 2017 Tiggy RLine from Sydney to NZ and was hoping to find out if the driver assist and sat Mac would work.

Does anyone know if it would and if not, what I would have to do to get it working.

Driver assist should definitely work. Sat Nav should as well as I am pretty sure the maps we have loaded here come NZ and Australia.

Personally I would have thought it would be better to sell your one over there and then buy one when you get here especially since there are some differences between the R-Lines there and here.

Howdy folks,

Anyone' be able to confirm and provide info on changing settings for the preset driving profiles? Like in "Eco, Comfort, Normal & Sport".
Before you mention it, I know the "Individual" profile allows just that, unfortunately the consumption saving feature called "Coasting" is only available in the "Eco" profile, which is hard set for all parameters. It would be quite useful if instead of fiddling with parameters in the "Individual" profile mode each time, once could have a custom "Sport" mode or Comfort, etc... you get what I'm after.

I have been poking around looking at "Adaptations" for modules using OBDEleven, but did not stumble onto anything relevant. Anyone who can point me in the right direction? Would appreciate that... Cheers.

Not sure if it's the same in the rest of the world, but in Canada the 7-seater (3rd row) versions of the 2018 Tiguan can't close the trunk power liftgate via the key fob or the button in the driver's door. Does anyone know how to change this so my 7-seater model behaves like a 5-seater...in other words, enable closing it via the key fob and the driver door button? It's a pain to only be able to close the liftgate via the buttons on the liftgate itself.

if ACC is on and you try to overtake on the left the extra lane comes up and the car slows to his speed, a few people have disabled it (ACC>long coding>overtaking right prevention)

Anyone done the overtake on the left fix with VCDS. Had this happen a couple of times on a multi-lane freeway / road when the car slows to the speed of the vehicle to the right and it's a bit painful.

Just tap your foot on the gas pedal and it will resume your set speed
