In discussions I have had with others that seems to be the consensus. I have also learned in the last day that TJA is being raised more and more as a discussion point in dealers showrooms.

I think there's no need to jump the gun yet. As far as I know no one has tried to duplicate Hugo's long coding and adaptation channels on an older firmware. I still believe they will work on older firmwares for TJA. Because TJA is not new and shouldn't be only active in the latest firmware.

Hugo, I messaged you my email address. Can you please send me the back up of your A5 module. Looks like I have to give it a go with my limited knowledge.

Might want to have a look at Module 44 long coding and adaptations as well. This is the steering assist module and i found some long coding differences between EU and Australian Tiguans with DAP.

I have just received an email from a dealer saying that the cars now arriving have got TJA activated. As there seems to be some conflict about this I am going to go and drive a new Adventure and confirm that it is. I am just waiting for confirmation that the car has been PD'd so I can do that.

I will probably go to dealer straight and tell them the lane assist is working badly then ask if there is any update on the camera or lane assist system to improve.
