Got the service done and took the car back to the APR dealership and they put their stage 1 tune back in, all free of charge.
The only downside was driving the car with the stock tune back in for a few days, car felt like it was full of lead lol.
I have no affiliation with APR, I’m just a customer, and a very happy one at that. The stage 1 tune absolutely transforms the Tig into a seriously fun car with loads more torque and acceleration. Cheapest performance upgrade I have ever done, will definitely go to stage 2 in the near future.
Dont bother going to VW for service, some 16 year old will be doing the oil and filter change, any certified workshop can do. I got my 15k service done at Peerless, does not void the warranty.
