Not sure at this stage, as I've only just ordered it online on Friday, hopefully not too long, but then I'm in no rush as I'll need to buy a DP from somewhere. I can get a catted CTS DP on ebay for ~950, just have to wait for my next paycheck

Make sure its the R not the GTI downpipe otherwise it wont clear the rear driveshaft.

That one on ebay have been on there for sale for ages, says there only 1 off.

It should come with the res delete pipe otherwise your not getting the full downpipe.

You wont regret removing the resinator

You and Melbourne_Tiggy were correct, the full pipe removes the resonator, got some photos inbound. Also did a short before and after rev in the garage to hear the exhaust difference. From inside the cabin it sounds a little deeper, a recording highlights the difference, just cleaning up the vid and I'll post it.

Really impressed with stage 2, did a launch and still can't wipe the grin from my face. It pulls really hard all through out the rev range.

The mid range pickup is particularly impressive. Sports mode on the DSG turns it into an animal

Wow, well done mate! That sounds really good- deeper sound. You will surprise a few cars on the road with that.

Sounds better on boost at high rpm... Where in SE area you live? Will keep an eye out for you as I am also in SE.

Roughly installed 6 weeks ago

• BMC Hi flow air filter
• APR stage 1 tune

about 4 weeks ago

• APR turbo inlet pipe
• EMC silicone hose
• Snow grate removal

last few days

• Air inlet mod into the airbox
• APR AWD DP
• APR stage 2 tune

Still to come

• Dogbone

Considering an i38 upgrade maybe sometime down the track....

The exhaust sounds SO much better now, got to drive into the city earlier and play around a little on the way in under different conditions and very happy with it. Car really moves, considering putting it on a dyno to see the results, would love a timed 0-100 as well sometime down the track if it can be arranged.

Happy to answer any questions, consider me a bit of a novice in this space, haven't modded cars since early 20s which was a long time ago, but having lots of fun researching and taking inspiration from other forum members.

It’s funny how we all have similar backgrounds i.e. modded cars previously in our 20s, now driving “sporty family cars” and turning them into sleeper modded SUVs.

I forgot to mention that on the IS38 Tig I’m still rocking a child seat in the rear. Are you stage 1/2 guys running anychild seats? it’s extra sleeper cred.
