    What are the gearbox issues you refer to for the 2017 car? My gearbox hasnt given me dramas since purchase luckily. Although the coolant line into the engine block broke off luckily it was repaired under warranty!

    There's a few people with reported leaks. And there have been a few with mechatronics units replaced.

    I don't think it would make any difference, however it will likely make any warranty claim more of a challenge. Not that an oil leak should be a factor, however sometimes dealerships/warranty dept can be a bit tricky to negotiate if you're tuned.

    Oh excellent, I'm out of warranty anyway! I intend on keeping this car for much longer. Finally caught onto how much money you save not changing cars every 4 years haha...

    I have created a separate post as well as I couldn't find much info on here, but just in case more knowledgeable people see it here, I'll ask if anyone has any experience tuning a 140TDI?
    If so, what were your findings from it?
    What tune option did you go with?
    What benefits did you see, in power, responsiveness, and fuel consumption?

    Hey guys, I just got the Stage II down pipe and high flow cat done for the Stage II APR tune. Got the car back yesti and the yellow exhaust/engine light came on. Anyone have this similar issue?

    I should also add I had a TCU tune done as well on the DSG which apparently increases the pressure of the clutch packs for less slip. My D1 and R are a little jerky to start with, is this something that will go away as the DSG relearns?

    I didn't think APR was doing stage 2 anymore, unless you booked and paid for it months ago?

    Who tuned it? Is there a chance they didn't load the stage 2 file? I would take it back to the tuner and ask them to scan the codes to see if the engine light relates to the new DP install or not

    Yeah i got the APR Stage II tune done before the cut off and rolled back to Stage I and then just this week had the hardware installed. This was all done at Eurotune on the Gold Coast.
