Yeah, we've been driving VW's for a while now and use the "Avoid Troll-roads" option (IIRC - there's no tunnel option). On another note it's really hidden in the MiB3 - you have switch to destination view and then look for the menu...
Even with troll roads disabled it'll sometimes try route towards the tunnels...
There are times when we want to take the gateway (troll) bridge to the airport and it will literally try take us off the next exit to go through the tunnel and then back onto the highway, which ADDS time and distance.
I'd prefer the RNS510 maps data and routing software to this junk (interface/resolution is better at least). Oh and the search indexing is just pure, crap - once again the RNS510 worked and you didn't have to discover the exact abbreviation and address part order it expects for a match. It's not a hard thing for a half-decent programmer to implement properly.
