Thanks Hillbilly for following up. I am using Windows PC so should be ok. Thanks for the heads up on the “no message” when using the stick. A newbie like me would definitely think that something is not working.

Btw, is it true that I need to keep the engine running while updating? Seems quite environmentally unfriendly.

I did but you can just do it when going to the shops or somewhere and if you stop it it should restart from where it left off.If your car is fairly new half an hour with the ign on wont hurt it and dont need engine running

Hi All, quick question - how do I know which infotainment system I have installed in my car? The VW Website provides me 2 options - Discover Media or Discover Pro. I have a 2020 Golf GTi.

Given that they provide pictures would have thought it would be a no Brainer
