Because it needs to be in FAT32 for Media to read it and if the drive is more than 32gb it will probably be in ExFat

Its a 32GB USB formatted NTFS. Discovery Pro reads the .mp3 fine when uploading.

Yes it does but it WONT format larger cards as FAT32 which is what we want to do. You need something like guiformat-x64 to do that

Use that and you can run large capacity cards in your dashcams that are supposedly limited to 32 GB

Yes we have been doing that since about 11th of June

Ok I formatted a 128gb card in NTFS and loaded the FOLDER with the map on it and it wouldnt load as it said no data.

I took card to PC and copied just the 3 files to the root directory of the card and deleted the folder and put it back in car

It then found and said update available.

So two things from that

NTFS works and you have to have just the 3 files on the card NOT THE FOLDER

One folder name is: P88_N60S5MIBH3_ROW_NT
The other is: HIGH12_P88_ROW_202022
Which ones have people had success with?

so either works I have used the Skoda one on mine but the unit also finds the VW one when i tell it to update.

Unfortunately I have not had any luck with having the car recognise the files.
I've have copying over the VW or Skoda files separate times to the recently formatted (to NTFS) SD card.
Not sure why its not working, bit frustrating. Will try again later...

Are you using a PC or a MAC because they give problems doing it

I have 3 different cards with the two maps One on an NTFS formatted card and two on FAT 32 formatted cars and all work perfectly

I just copy and paste the three files by R clicking / copy open card rclick/paste

I am using a Mac. Don't have a Windows computer in the house. The one at work is via a remote server and I don't want to download 30gb onto it as I'll get flagged haha
