Yes there is and there are several databases linked to in this thread that you can simply download and install.

hey all, can anyone confirm if the latest P79 map update stops TMC from working and if so is there a way to get it working again?

Works on mine but i had that map installed before I coded it in.

Enable Traffic Information (TMC) on Headunit
This enables the ‘Traffic’ button to work on the headunit, and will use radio frequency data to display nearby traffic information. Once activated, in may take over an hour for the initial messages to appear.

Select Control Unit 5F (Information Control Unit)
Adaptations
Change Fee Based Traffic Information (TMC) value to ‘1024’
Next, in the normal radio settings, enable ‘Traffic Programme (TP)’ and RDS
If you get an error, turn the headunit OFF and try again.

Many updates (not just gps related) reset different coding ‘enable’ functions. So far, they’ve all been possible- doing the process again, each time.

Thanks Hillbilly & Simonr23 - I've just updated to P79 using a USB stick. Can confirm the map update was a success & TMC is still working & was not effected. I had the car engine ON during the whole process.

Dunno they annoy me so dont have them turned on.

They are a pain as I dont live in the city and the restricted selection number makes it not worth it

Probably Have you gone to the site and looked, They are a different version than our part of the world depending on your Nav unit which is unknown as is your car and year model

This is an AUS site and has a different map to you.
