    Now that I'm coming up for my 1st annual service I'm wondering is there a setting or set of instructions I can give them so then I don't have to press the small icon on the bottom right of the Nav screen to clear the display of past nav choices and just display the map.

    By way of explanation the display is usually showing the Nav map, as distinct from the Radio for example and I'm usually not wanting to set a destination on most starts.

    Further I can find no way of clearing all the past Nav destinations on the display so if anyone can also help with this it would also be a bonus.
    Havent heard of that and to clear them you swipe left and a red delete box comes up. Tells you that in the supplement for the NAV

    I swiped left today and whilst that took me to a clear map, like pressing the icon on the bottom right, no delete box was shown.
    The user manual that came with my car doesn't help and no NAV supplement came with the car.

    I was just wondering if there was a known setting that gives you a clear map, ie not showing some past destinations, on start-up.

    Which MMI are we talking about A Discover media or a discover pro. On my Pro you hit the arrow at the end of saved destination and edit and then delete

    It's a Pro unit in my 2021 Tig Elegance.

    The initial Nav display on start looks like;

    Pressing the lower right icon, or scrolling left clears the display to just show the map. This is how I would like thge initial display to be, if that's possible.

    The list of saved locations doesn't look to have any delete option;

    This info I discovered from another site on how to remove saved locations on the MIB3 -
    Hi all, an update on the MIB3 satnav settings having spent more time trying to understand how this new satnav works than driving the car, my problem was trying to delete/remove last destinations well by trying every button on the display to no avail I discovered that you place your finger on the last destination and swipe to the left which brings up a red square with a bin in it tap the bin destination deleted.

    This youtube video explains the process at 1.35 - Kurzer Blick aufs (neue) Discover Pro im Passat Facelift: MIB III & digitaler Tacho - YouTube
    If your Deutsch is limited use the subtitles option.

    I've not tried it personally as I don't use the VW mapping for navigation so have no saved locations as such.

    Thanks guys, now that I know how, it's easy.

    Left swipe the location either on the map or saved list and a red X delete box is then shown.

    Does anyone know of any coding/adaptation that will enable personalization on a MY22 Tiguan?

    I spent about half an hour getting the temperamental seat memory to work. The manual instructions were just plain wrong and I had to set them like my 2008 R36 (I think I may have received a My21 manual...).

    It'd be awesome to have personalisation just work, like it does in the Arteon, but I understand that MIB3 has gone backwards in that respect.

    12 Oil Temperature Display in Cluster:

    Has anyone tried this and can tell me where this displays in the 'cluster'? Can see it under driving data already without enabling on new version of virtual cockpit in 2019 tiguan, but was wondering if its possible to have it show somewhere else permanantly as it the actual oil temp gauge on left is rarely correct.

    Cant remember as I did it but dont really worry about it as in normal driving its not really a worry. as I wouldnt take a Tiguan to place that would stress the engine and more so the monocoque body I havent got it showing.
