I pay no excess so cost is CGU's problem who is the other guys company car insurance company.

It cost 8.5k to fix front end damage on my MK6 R after hitting what looked like a large feral cat at 80 km/hr.

hahahaha, I was going 40 km/h in heavy traffic, my lane was moving, he's lane was at a standstill, I was next to him when he decided to pull into my lane and the side of the car... No amount of stages could have helped as I had no where to go or even see him turn into me...

You should have optioned Blind Spot Resist, an airbag that deploys on the outside to bounce the other douche off your car and protect the body work.
