Yeah, tried messaging Lakin Plates thru their Facebook Page, and lucky enough, Philip replied and mentioned that he's still doing plates. Gave me his number and talk to him last friday, placed my order the same day as well. Cool guy. Very specific to what we need. My guess is that he is not doing it full time now and just locally.

Just wondering does anyone have the genuine tiguan windscreen sunshade? Or any alternative? Been looking for one but only seem to find it overseas online.

Philip posted out another set of hardware that went missing at the dealership so I could fit the front plate.

Tiggi is now complete.

Hopefully things improve for Philip so he can continue to provide a great product backed by excellent customer service. If anybody is looking for custom number plate brackets I can highly recommend Lakin.

I got a rear one too so the dealer doesn't just drill holes in the middle of my number plate.

I'm not embarrassed to admit that I'm a little bit excited to have sorted these out with Philip.

He is such a good guy. Still had my details from 2014 when I got one for my GTI.
