Picked up my ruby red Comfortline from VW Leichhardt today. So so pretty... Took just six days between landing at Port Kembla and pickup. Got to say I’ve had great service and communication from the team at Leichhardt. All the features on the two screens are a bit overwhelming at the moment, but - - - new toy to explore!
Ordered my new Tig back in March. Was supposed to arrive in Syd on the 10th of April, ready to pick up today (20th). Dealer has been a bit crappy with updates.
Finally found out it arrived the 15th and is 'stuck' at the port (along with a few hundred other cars) awaiting customs clearance. Now looking at a May delivery. Anyone else had issues with customs taking time to clear plates? Seems like a long time to wait considering the vehicles in Aus.
hey aro, can i ask what you ordered?
Not saying it's definitely the case, but there was a 4 day dock strike in Melbourne earlier this month that could have had a flow on effect to deliveries in NSW. Ships were going to bypass Melbourne during that time but those already on the dock would have had their unloading delayed and there for their departure to Sydney ports. Those that did bypass Melbourne would likely to have been slower to unload as the delivery was then out of sequence.

Bit hard to take knowing its here, but still so far away..
Supposedly it's unloaded. just sitting at the port with 200 other cars awaiting customs clearance. As mentioned earlier, haven't had a great line of communication with the dealership, so hard to know what to believe.
Not sure if still the case but mine was held up a few weeks ago due to lack of tyre inflation stickers and therefore did not comply with ADR
I have received my R Line and just wondering if the electric seat adjustment is working correctly. When I am sitting in the seat and want to adjust it to one of the preset seat positions, I have to hold down the button on the side of the driver side seat in order for it to adjust. If I am not sitting in the chair, I don't have to hold down the button. I only need to press it once and it automatically adjusts to the preset position.
If you add driver profiles in the settings and synchronise it to a key fob (one for you and the other for the second driver) it will retain your settings when you use that key so you don't even need to use the 1,2,3 buttons.
For example, my wife and I have seperate keys. I look the car with my profile and the settings are saved. If my wife unlocks the car with her key, the seat and mirrors adjust as the door opens to her settings.
It will default to whatever the settings are as you lock the car, so if a friend drives it and adjusts the seat on your profile that will be the new default so change the profile to guest when you let someone else drive it (if you do).
I also think you can run a setup wizard on each profile to make the process alot easier.

Ordered my Tiggy last week. 162 Highline, DAP/Sunroof/R-Line in Tungsten Silver - July delivery, so I'm told.
The colour choice was a toss up between the Indium Grey and the Tungsten Silver. Am still yet to see a fully loaded 162 in Tungsten Silver, so that's why I chose it - have to be different!
Lots of great info/tips on watercooled. I look forward to contributing to the forum further.
