You will see there is a pin in the centre of plug, find a drill bit the same size and drill it out or a screw driver the same size and push the pin out, some are hard to push out , so l just drilled the hard ones.

So Australia Post managed to lose and then find my Bumper Plug package and so I now have them….however the holes are a fraction too big for the threaded part and the depth of the holes in the bumper only seems to be minimal, am I missing something?

Currently I can pull them out again by finger nail so it seems that I may need to glue them or similar, any advice?

Actually belay that, I heard back from their support at Bumper Plugs and the solution is to wrap 1-2 inches of elctrical tape around the threaded part and it stays seated

So you have to build them up with some tape , l use some flange plumber tape so they fix firmly in hole and l use a same drop of super glue gel. Gel best cos it won’t run.

Too true, I’m waiting patiently, unsightly euro (270mm centre) mounting holes either side of a 4-digit VIC plate look awful.
