I had to enable lane guidance assist so the traffic jam assist would work.

Picked ours up on Thursday. Love it so far.
Waiting for 1000km easy run in recommended before switching to sports mode and see what it can do.

Looking at options for stereo subwoofer. Not overly impressed with the sound system.

    Hi Mate,

So finally got my car and spent the weekend enjoying and getting my head around all the tech!

Can I please pick your brains re removing the Euro plate "screws" for the Bumper Plugs?

I saw in one of your other posts that you said it was easy with either a pin or a drill, but they seem to just be large flat plastic plugs that hold the Euro mount on, so do I have to lever those out or do they unscrew....?!?

A bit fearful of taking a drill to my new baby without knowing what is below the surface!

    Cheers

You will see there is a pin in the centre of plug, find a drill bit the same size and drill it out or a screw driver the same size and push the pin out, some are hard to push out , so l just drilled the hard ones.

Speaking of “learning the tech”. My old car would dip the mirrors when reversing so you can view the kerb. I found this as an option under mirror settings but doesn’t appear to work. Has anyone got their mirrors dipping in reverse?

    1) the holes do no match
    2) there are no threaded inserts in the bumper
    Thanks to everybody that replied.

I got the car back today and fitted the Lakin bracket myself. It was a perfect fit with the factory holes and with the plugs provided it was a very easy job to fit.

***** happens sometimes and it's how you address it that really matters. Brighton Volkswagen were very good dealing with the issue and repaired the screw holes in the bumper.
