I'm trying to find the interior monitor disable button so I can lock my dog in the car (windows down of course). It's not where the manual says it is. Any suggestions? Did VWA leave it out of the spec?

I can't find it either and neither could the dealer...I think they left it out.

I vaguely remember that on MY17 models its was a physical switch and it was somewhere crazy like beside the rear passenger door, then in MY18 it was removed and put into the settings in the Discover system?

Check the MY18 Update Changes threads here and on the VW Tiguan forums in the UK because it was in one of those....

Has anyone noticed the time from which you get the first welcome email from VW confirming your order to the next "built " email and then through to the delivery date? What are the times from the first email to those checkpoints?

I just received that first email 2 months after I put in my order, so curious.

I haven't even received a welcome email...dubious as to whether I'll see a 'built' one either. Had to email the dealer to confirm the order was actually placed. Still on track from December delivery according to them but tbh I'm not holding my breath seeing others on here being offered that sort of carrot...

I can tell you from start of build to landing in Melbourne is 9 weeks.
Mine starts week 32 and landing week 41.

Mine starts week 32 and landing week 41.

So that's next week then for the start of build. When will the VIN be available ?
