There are lots I have ordered/received my New Tiguan Here is a bit of a list of what I have done:

    Stop/Start Disable
Traffic Reports (though this only seems to work intermittently on mine)
    Needle Sweep
Adaptive Lane Guidance (still working on full TJA)
    Headlight Assist
    Road Sign Recognition

You can find a guide for most of these here: A guide to enable EU specific features for AU Spec Tiguans

Would be great to know what you actually get 'out of the box'... can we dare to hope that VW have signed off on some of these features for Oz?

Just to understand what this means for warranty of the car -
Do we void the warranty because of this? And insurance too?

No warranty is fine. These are factory options that you're just enabling. Though it may confuse the service guys if they haven't seen it before.

Insurance may only be interested if you enable a feature that is going to cause distractions. Something like enabling DVD playback while driving.

Picked up my Tig today, have spent a few hours in it ferrying the kids around to various things, haven't had much time to play/customise yet, but it's been great, so much more refined than my X-Trail, driving is a pleasure. Few things that come to mind.

    - Dynamic Lights are brilliant, love watching them start up
    - interior lighting is great, like the way the door handles are illuminated.
    - Apple car play is great
    - Bluetooth a breeze to setup
    - been taking it really easy, but you can feel the power under the hood
    - ride on the 20" wheels is firmer than I thought it'd be, feel the rough surfaces more than I ever have before
    - delivery experience at the dealership was great, really thorough
    - it's now filthy as there's been lots of showers this arvo
    - kids love it
    - automatic boot opener is cool
    - boot is bigger than I remember
    - DSG has been smooth
    - stop/start is ok, not causing me any issues
    - ALG is not an option under systems menu
    - Lane assist gives a nice reminder when drifting lanes, tested on purpose
    - Stereo is much better than I remember, actually quite decent and probably the best I've had in a car

thats about it for now, will add the obligatory pic in the appropriate thread but haven't had time to stop and take pics yet sorry

hang in for those who are still waiting, the first few hours in it have me mightly impressed

TheTig, glad it is as good, or better, than you remembered. I am still waiting to put finger prints on mine, but at least I am enjoying the wait (currently in Amsterdam with more of Europe to follow)
