I test drove one without sunroof and found it just fine. My current car has a sunroof and have hardly used it so when I ordered one, I went without the roof for the reason why pay a premium for something you won't use much, adds a fair bit more weight to the car so will effect performance, headroom is lower and on a lessor point with a large hole in the roof ridgidity Would change and may effect handling. You're right, it comes down to personal choice. I've actually never had a sunroof so it's a bit of a novelty for me. I wasn't overly phased, but the comfortline that we drove had a sunroof and my wife really liked it (and so did I). I really liked how bright and airy the car was, and when I drove the R-Line is seem to have lost that feeling because of the dark interior. I'm just hoping that a bit of extra light coming in from the sunroof might help.
