For those that have got their letter from VW with the build details, at which stage of the process did you receive this? My dealer told me that my vehicle was scheduled to be handed to production on 24th December. I'm assuming that I'll get some sort of notification once they start building the car, or perhaps once the build is complete?

Ordered: 2017 build date Tiguan 162 TSI Highline with DAP in Tungsten Silver and rear luggage tray. ETA: late April / Early May. I did not have to wait.I took delivery on 11 March 2017.
