Clearly the sunroof compromises integrity a little 10% on the Tiguan. What would really be interesting is the impact the various MQB layouts have on rigidity. For example the golf hatch v the Tiguan SUV v the A3/Jetta sedan v the A3 cabriolet.
As you say probably doesn't make any difference but interesting.
