I see in your signature that you acknowledge no Dynaudio. I'm coming from a Volvo which has a terrrific sound system(to my ears anyway)..Do you have a plan to upgrade your sound system with anything after market? Would love to hear yours and anybody else's view on this? What do the guys with new Tigs think of the sound in their cars?
2017 Tiguan R Line 162TSI, DAP, White. Upgraded speakers.

I tend to be a perfectionist in about everything I do, with music I can not (fully) enjoy it while driving, as I enjoy driving, and experiencing all the imputs. I enjoy music at home and do not understand people "enjoying" loud music in such a small sub optimum space like a car cabin.
Of course, when I was a young guy I thought different of this, but I grew up and became a bit wiser...
I hope the car makes a pleasant noise by itself, unlike the Volvo I had a few years ago and sold it within a year for being so boring.
This is the philosophical part, I'm collecting the new 162kw R-line tomorrow, without Dynaudio and without a Panorama roof, so for the practical part of my thoughts about the sound(s) you'll have to wait for tomorrow. If I don't forget....

My A6 has LEDs (non matrix, just like the Tig) and they are fantastic to drive at night with. The matrix LEDs are even better. Not brighter, just smarter.

Going from the Audi with LEDs into anything else (even a Holden) Is like driving with two candles in jam tins, the difference is that huge. Add to that, the auto dipping function and they are a wonderful piece of engineering.

To be honest, I will never buy another car without them.
Hi! Must say I envy you guys with your new toys although I still have a few k's to go on my Gen 1 Tiguan so will be confining my dreams to test drives for a while. I have bi zenons on my TDI and wanted to ask for any thoughts comparing LED's to Bi Zenons? I have done a lot of night driving and find the bi zenons the best lights I have ever had on a vehicle. Are LED's better in your opinion?

This video shows how it "blocks" out cars while high beam is on, amazing technology!

I owned a Subaru Liberty with Bi Xenons prior to the A6. The LEDs are markedly better than the Bi Xenons. Chalk and cheese.

The lights in the video illustrate how the matrix LEDs work. These are NOT the same as those fitted to the tig. These matrix LEDs are just starting to appear in the upper echelons of the model range on the Audis. Q7, R8 and A8. I have driven with them and they are fantastic.

The lights fitted to the Highline are LEDs but not matrix. They operate just like any high/low beam lights would. The improvement is in their brightness and the colour temperature of the light. They turn night into day. They also have a very good auto dipping function. So while they don't dip individual LEDs like the matrix lights do, they still do a very good job of dipping for oncoming cars or when catching up to cars traveling in the same direction in front of you, by detecting the head or tail lights respectively.
