I collected my new 140TDI R-line from the dealer today. It's wonderful.
I need to put a towbar on it. Does anyone know whether I can fit an after-market, or must I get a genuine VW one (at twice the cost)? I've been told that the newer diesels with the "ad blu" must only have the genuine article, but would like to try to verify that. Thanks.

Looked at a 162TSI last weekend, sale weekend ��, picked mine up today, cancelled order, White 162 Highline + R-line + Sun+ DAP, loving it.

Collected yesterday. Awesome vehicle. So much tech to get my head around!
My experience with NLC and dealer were excellent. Had 17km on clock and a full tank of 95RON. My wife is too scared to drive it!
